GUZAARISH:REVIEW

Guzaarish,means a desire or a request,starring Hrithik Roshan(Ethan Mascarenhas),Aishwarya Rai(Sophia),Aditya roy kapoor(Omar siddiqui)and Shernaz Patel(Devyani).

Story in brief:Ethan(Hrithik)is a patient suffered from paralysis since 12 years means can't move a single body part without support.He has lost all his body senses during a magic show as he was the best magician.Sophia(Aishwarya) Ethan's caretaker do everything what he orders to do.Omar(Aditya Roy Kapoor) is a young guy wants to become a magician and to this he wants Ethan to teach him magic.After all his tryings at Ethan's home and he succeeded to impress Ethan through his childhood memories like older masala bollywood movies.Ethan is also a famous Radio Jocky and has a big fan following after him.

The story takes a turn when he files a case in court for his mercy killing or Euthanasia and his best lawyer friend Devyani(Shernaz) helps him.Firstly,Judge dismissed his petition for mercy killing.Ethan get frustrated by his suffering so that he doesn't to live his life in this way.Aishwarya doesn't like his decision of mercy killing.

Good things About Guzaarish:
1)Performance-Hrithik has done what we all have expected from him,he is good.Aditya Roy Kapoor is ok and this time he has improved under Bhansali's Direction.Nafisa Ali is OK as Hrithik's mother.Shernaz Patel is excellent and has given her best.Suhel Seth is good as Hrithik's doctor.
2)Aishwarya's performance is one of the best part of this movie.She is the best in the movie and again shown that she is always excellent with Bhansali.
3)The hearing of the petition at Hrithik's house is one of the well made scenes.
4)The court scenes are also good.

Bad things About Guzaarish:
1)The pace of the movie is not good.It is slow and that's why youngsters are not looking happy with the movie.
2)Music is just average and not upto the mark like Bhansali's previous devdas,khamoshi,hum dil de chuke sanam as music has given by director himself.
3)The climax is not so impressive.
4)Emotion,movie is so emotional less entertaining and Bhansali is known for his serious movie but youngsters don't like it so much.
5)More usage of English makes mass uncomfortable with the dialogues and this becomes the big disadvantage and because of this problem also Hrithik's Kites blasted at the box office.


Above all,If you are Hrithik's and Aishwarya's fan and looking for some meaningfull cinema then go for it.

So,i am going to give 3 out of 5 stars for Hrithik and aishwarya starrer Guzaarish,is good but not upto the mark.
